Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Current New York State RN license
• BLS required
• ACLS preferred
• OR nursing experience
• Strong clinical, organizational, communication, and leadership skills
• Ability to prioritize and delegate effectively
• Ability to work safely in an OR/ASU environment
• Lethal dysrhythmia interpretation skills

Additional Details

• Weekend, holiday, and on-call coverage required
• On-call response time: 30 minutes
• 100-mile radius rule
• Preceptorship, charge, and leadership experience preferred
• Daily OT after 24 hours
• Weekly OT after 48 hours
• 40 guaranteed hours/week
