Part Time Bookkeeper

Part-Time Bookkeeper LOCATION Southlake, TX | Onsite COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE $25.00–$30.00 per hour 20–25 hours per week (anticipated Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday schedule to start) Part-Time, W-2 Opportunity to transition into a full-time position based on business needs and performance ROLE IMPACT Join a well-established CPA firm where you'll play a key role in keeping client financial records accurate, organized, and up to date. This position supports the firm's day-to-day accounting operations while providing exceptional service to clients. Success in this role comes from attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a professional office environment. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Maintain client bookkeeping records using accounting software and established procedures. Process accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and journal entries. Assist with monthly financial reporting and general ledger maintenance. Organize financial documentation and communicate with clients to obtain needed information. Support CPAs with accounting projects and other administrative accounting duties as assigned. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Experience performing bookkeeping functions in a CPA firm, accounting firm, or similar professional environment. Proficiency with QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and communication skills. CORE TOOLS & SYSTEMS QuickBooks (Desktop and/or Online) Microsoft Excel Microsoft Outlook Microsoft Word Cloud-based document management systems PREFERRED SKILLS Experience supporting multiple client accounts simultaneously. Knowledge of payroll processing and sales tax reporting. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a small team.
