Accounting Clerk

Key Duties Process vendor invoices in accordance with the established procedures. Generate and mail vendor payments. Review vendor statements for past due invoices and contact vendors to resolve disputes. Scan vendor invoices into imaging system. Collaborate with appropriate accounting department personnel to ensure accurate month end cutoff and timely monthly close of accounts payable. Review invoices for potential sales/use tax liability. Required Skills, Experience, and Education High School diploma or college degree Strong attention to detail, organized, and reconciliation skills Ability to manage priorities and meet specific deadlines Work well in a team environment Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word Accounts payable, accounting and Oracle experience a plus Genesis Energy is an equal opportunity employer.
