This is a Night shift position, 5x8 hours (19:00 - 07:00).

This is a 13-week contract position.

Job Description

The Medical Laboratory Technician will perform laboratory tests and analyses on various specimens to provide timely and accurate results, assisting healthcare professionals in diagnosing and treating patients. This role requires strong attention to detail, proficiency in laboratory procedures, and adherence to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory tests with precision and accuracy.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and perform routine quality control checks.
• Document results and maintain accurate records in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide patient care support.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Medical Laboratory Technician.
• Current Florida license or compact license in hand.
• National certification from ASCP, AMT, or ABOR.
• Cerner or Epic charting experience is required.
• References required.
