This hospital is part of a well-established regional healthcare network serving the Wisconsin Rapids community and surrounding areas. The facility features a 40-bed department with a Level 3 trauma designation and robust support services including 24-hour access to anesthesia, general surgery, orthopedic surgery, radiology, and laboratory services.

Opportunity:
Physician - Hospitalist

Job Details:

• Provide comprehensive hospitalist services covering 12-hour shifts (7a-7p or 7p-7a)
• Manage 12-14 patient encounters per shift in a 40-bed department
• Must hold an active Wisconsin license or IMLC
• Board certification required; credentialing timeframe approximately 90 days
• ACLS certification required
• Adult inpatient care including ICU management preferred
• Non-invasive and invasive ventilation management (acute and chronic) preferred
• Proficiency with intubation, chest tube placement, arterial line placement, PA catheter placement, and PICC line placement preferred
• EKG interpretation, cardiac stress test, and echocardiogram experience preferred
• Pediatric inpatient care including PICU experience preferred
• Nursery Level I and Level II/NICU experience preferred
• Pediatric procedures including conscious sedation, deep sedation, and central line placement preferred
• Nearest airport is Appleton; lodging available at Hotel Mead

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
