Lead Software Developer

We are looking for a strong Software Engineer to design and build internal tools and analysis workflows that leverage LLMs as assistive components. This role focuses on creating reliable, explainable, and human‑validated solutions where AI enhances — but does not replace — engineering judgment. The emphasis is on software engineering, internal tooling, and thoughtful, pragmatic AI integration. Hard Skills Proven experience as a Lead or Senior Software Developer with demonstrated technical leadership responsibilities Strong engineering experience using Python as a general‑purpose language. Proven ability to build internal tools, utilities, and analysis workflows. Comfort writing clean, maintainable, production‑quality Python code. Experience working outside of framework‑centric web applications. Hands‑on experience integrating large language models (e.g., OpenAI, Claude) into software systems. Using LLMs to support analysis, summarization, and documentation, rather than to drive autonomous decision‑making. Ability to clearly define where AI adds value and where deterministic logic is required. Experience designing systems where AI‑assisted outputs are reviewed, validated, and approved by humans. Strong understanding of accountability, auditability, and correctness in AI‑supported workflows. Ability to design guardrails that prevent AI outputs from being treated as authoritative without validation. Soft skills Strong sense of ownership and accountability, consistently delivering high-quality work on time with minimal supervision. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, able to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders and clearly articulate technical concepts. Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and drive technical initiatives forward.
