Diego’s Bakery is a modern artisan bakery focused on high-quality, from-scratch desserts that are balanced and never overly sweet. We’re looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Baker Assistant who is ready to work, learn, and contribute to all aspects of the kitchen.
This is a hands-on role —ideal for someone who understands that great baking also requires prep, cleaning, and consistency.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily baking and ingredient prep
- Follow recipes accurately and efficiently
- Support all kitchen operations, including dishwashing and cleaning
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional workspace
Requirements:
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Positive, team-oriented attitude
- Punctuality and consistent attendance are essential
- Must be comfortable with both baking and cleaning tasks
- Valid ServSafe certification required
- Previous kitchen or bakery experience is a plus
Compensation:
Starting at $19/hour + tips (negotiable based on experience)
Shifts Available:
- 6:30am to 2:30pm
