Patterns Hiring is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Cooperstown, New York. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Labor and Delivery Discipline: RN Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, rotating Employment Type: Travel Must have RN New York State Active License AHA BLS Certification required NRP Certification required Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Certification required Must have 2 years of OB experience Job Description: Shift • Varied Shift: Shifts are scheduled as 7a–7p or 7p–7a Unit Specifics • 4 Labor/Delivery/Recovery (LDR) rooms, each with a private bath, shower, and spa tub • 8 postpartum rooms with refrigerators and fold-out couches • Operating rooms for Caesarean births • A special care nursery Candidate Requirements • Experience: 3 years of OB experience • Consideration: Candidates with less than 3 years may be accepted if they have prior travel experience or have worked in a specialized OB setting • Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, and antepartum care required • L&D Requirements: circulate only • Need to know how to stabilize an infant until transport gets there (NRP skills) Certifications (Required) • BLS • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) • Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Certification (AWHONN or EFM is acceptable) Patterns Hiring Job ID BHN-1653.
