Procedural Nurse - Cardiac Intensive Care

This is a 13-week contract position.

AM Shift: 07:30 – 16:00, Monday through Friday. No call, no holidays, and no weekends.

The primary role of the Procedural Nurse is to perform moderate sedation administration, monitoring, and documentation during Transesophageal Echocardiogram procedures within the Echo department. This position does not require work in the Cath Lab.

Responsibilities:

• Administer moderate sedation safely during inpatient and outpatient Transesophageal Echocardiography procedures.
• Continuously monitor patients during procedures to ensure safety and compliance.
• Document all aspects of moderate sedation administration and patient responses accurately.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years Cardiac Intensive Care experience.
• Experience with moderate sedation administration is preferred.
• Current BLS (AHA) and ACLS certifications are required.
