Lube Technician

Art Hill Ford is seeking a skilled and motivated Lube Technician to join our team in Merrillville, IN. In this role, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance services such as oil changes, lubrication, and fluid top-offs to ensure vehicles operate smoothly and efficiently. You will play a key role in helping us deliver excellent customer service by maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicles for obvious mechanical issues and report any defects to service advisors.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service bays and work areas.
• Assist technicians with additional tasks as needed to facilitate timely repair and service turnaround.
• Ensure compliance with all safety policies and procedures.
• Provide friendly and professional service to customers, addressing any questions or concerns.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a lube technician or in a related automotive service role preferred.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and lubrication procedures.
• Ability to work efficiently with attention to detail and safety.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and parts as required.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
