Telecom Sourcing Analyst

Job Purpose As the TEM‑Souring Analyst, you will lead telecom and colocation purchasing for North and South America, completing RFQs, cost analysis, KMZ reviews, contract negotiations, inventory management, and vendor relationships. The candidate is highly motivated, organized, honest, proactive, with excellent analytical, communication, and business acumen. Overview The role includes working directly with engineering teams to determine requirements and initiate bids with multiple vendors for the best solution and pricing. You will manage the full lifecycle: quoting, ordering, implementation, and inventory record creation. Responsibilities Initiate and track vendor bids and perform cost and technical analysis Expand and maintain a diverse network of telecom and datacenter suppliers Review contracts and sales order forms Manage negotiations, disputes, and escalations Maintain industry knowledge and proactively stay current Have a working understanding of telecommunications and colocation services and engineering Have experience in telecom procurement with direct work with global telecommunications suppliers Review KMZ/KML files Analyze telecom data to identify cost savings and benchmark rates Understanding of ServiceNow is preferable Knowledge And Experience Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. 3‑5 years of experience in the telecom sourcing industry. Previous experience in telecom sourcing, procurement, or a related field. Strong analytical skills, proficiency in Excel and other data analysis tools, excellent negotiation skills, and knowledge of telecom industry standards and practices.
