AS/400 Developer

Job Title: AS/400 Developer Location: Cincinnati, OH (Hybrid/Onsite ) Job Description We are seeking a skilled AS/400 Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands‑on experience in RPG programming and related AS/400 technologies. This position involves development, testing, support, and documentation in a collaborative team environment. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain applications using AS/400 technologies: RPG400, RPGLE, CLLE, SQLRPGLE Define test plans and conduct unit and string testing Provide post‑implementation support and assist with user acceptance testing (UAT) Troubleshoot and resolve issues based on their impact and urgency Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation Present technical concepts clearly to non‑technical stakeholders Required Skills & Experience Extensive hands‑on experience with AS/400 platform , including: RPG400, RPGILE, CLLE, SQL400, SQLRPGLE, DB2/400 Strong knowledge of change management tools such as: TURNOVER, TAATOOL, HAWKEYE Familiarity with Web Service development on AS/400 is preferred Understanding of Integrated File System (IFS) and AS/400 networking concepts Experience in application design, complex coding, and application testing Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills Solid understanding of technology architecture principles Proven ability to create and maintain technical documentation Strong communication and teamwork skills; ability to work independently Preferred Qualifications Experience in the Travel domain is a plus Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science , Computer Engineering , or a related field #J-18808-Ljbffr
