Bilingual Phlebotomist

Labcorp is seeking a bilingual phlebotomist to join our team at Access Community Martin Russo-Access Martin Russo: 245 S. Gary Ave. Bloomingdale, IL. 60108.

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday 9:00am – 6:00pm, Every other Saturday 8:00am -12:00pm

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments when required
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience (In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency)
• 1 year or more pediatrics experience

• COVID Vaccine Required
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision
• Reliable transportation
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test

Pay Range: $18.00 - $24.50 per hour

Phlebotomist's may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.

Employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan.
