Job Title: Assembly Line Technician – Seating Components

Job Description

This role involves working on a production line assembling seat components using basic hand and power tools in a modern, temperature-controlled manufacturing facility. You will contribute to high-quality product assembly while adapting to shift changes and supporting increased production demands through regular overtime.

Responsibilities

• Assemble seat components on a production line according to work instructions and quality standards.
• Use basic hand and power tools safely and effectively to build and secure parts.
• Inspect assembled parts for accuracy, quality, and proper fit, and make adjustments as needed.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Stand for the duration of the shift while performing repetitive assembly tasks.
• Meet production goals and timelines by working mandatory weekly overtime as required.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to resolve issues and improve assembly processes.
• Adapt to shift changes, starting on first shift and transitioning to second shift as scheduled.

Essential Skills

• Basic mechanical aptitude and the ability to understand how parts fit and work together.
• Experience or familiarity with manufacturing assembly environments.
• Ability to use basic hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, and pliers.
• Ability to use basic power tools safely and correctly.
• Capability to stand on your feet for the entire shift.
• Willingness and ability to work 50–60 hours per week, including mandatory overtime.
• Reliability and punctuality for consistent shift attendance.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production line setting.
• Comfort working with tools and machinery in a structured, process-driven environment.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and standard operating procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Work Environment

You will work inside a brand-new, state-of-the-art, temperature-controlled manufacturing facility that remains cool throughout the year. The role is based on a production line, requiring you to stand for the full duration of your shift and perform repetitive assembly tasks with hand and power tools. You will start on first shift, typically 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, and then transition to second shift, typically 4:30 p.m. to 1:00 a.m., as scheduled. The position requires working 50–60 hours per week, including mandatory overtime, in a structured, safety-focused industrial environment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Savannah, GA.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.50/hr.
