Work Environment\nThis role is conducted remotely, providing you with the flexibility to work from the comfort of your home while engaging closely with clients through telehealth platforms. Our outpatient office setting ensures a collaborative and supportive environment that values continuous communication and professional development among team members. Counseling sessions will be conducted during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., allowing for a structured yet accommodating work schedule.
Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Create a warm and inviting therapeutic atmosphere where clients feel safe and understood, fostering an open dialogue about their mental health challenges. \n
- Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms, including anxiety, depression, and bipolar disorder. \n
- Design and implement individualized treatment plans that reflect the unique goals, preferences, and circumstances of each client. \n
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to effectively address client needs. \n
- Provide ongoing education and support regarding mood disorders, treatment options, and essential self-care strategies to clients and their families. \n
- Monitor client progress closely, regularly revisiting treatment plans and making necessary adjustments to optimize therapeutic outcomes. \n
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and primary care providers, to ensure a fully integrated approach to client care. \n
- Stay informed about current research and clinical best practices related to mood disorders to continually enhance treatment methodologies. \n
- Maintain thorough, confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical guidelines, ensuring accuracy and completeness. \n
- Participate in regular case consultations, team meetings, and professional development activities to foster collaborative growth. \n
The LMFT role will primarily focus on clients facing mood disorders such as depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder, as well as providing support to individuals and families impacted by homelessness, trauma, and domestic abuse. Your empathetic approach will help clients navigate their challenges, and your interventions will aim to empower them towards healthier coping mechanisms and improved emotional regulation.

- A current and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is mandatory. \n
- Completion of a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is required. \n
