Front of House Team Member (Daytime)

We're looking for our next great Front of House Daytime Team Members! This person MUST be available to work: Monday - Friday: 5:30 a.m. - 5 p.m. Saturday: 5:30 a.m. - 10:30 p.m. Based on our industry, Friday & Saturday availability is required. Please note hours are earned and not guaranteed! Current Hourly Pay rate for this availability is $16 an hour As a Front of House (FOH) Team Member at Chick-fil-A, you will be the first point of contact for customers, ensuring they receive excellent service and a memorable dining experience. This role involves greeting customers, taking orders, serving food and drink orders, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. Responsibilities: Greets every customer with a warm, friendly attitude and ensures they feel welcome. Accurately take customer orders in the restaurant and in the drive thru, enters orders accurately into the POS system. Provides menu knowledge and suggests additional items (upselling) when appropriate. Serves customers promptly and ensures that the food meets quality and presentation standards. Processes payments using the POS, handles cash transactions, and ensures the accuracy of all transactions i.e. giving correct change to customers. Maintains cleanliness in the dining area, front counter, and restrooms by clearing tables, wiping surfaces, and taking out trash as needed. Works collaboratively with kitchen and other team members to ensure orders are completed accurately and quickly. Addresses customer inquiries and proactively works to resolve any complaints in a courteous and efficient manner. Follows all company policies, procedures, and food safety regulations to ensure the health and safety of customers. Completes the training required within the first two weeks of joining. Assists team leaders and members by refilling beverage containers, ice, condiments and cups, etc. This involves carrying loads of 25+lbs on a daily basis. Knowledge and Experience Requirements: Prior experience working in the food service or customer service industry is not required. Must be able to stand for long periods of time and work outside in the sun. Must be able to lift items over 25 lbs. on a daily basis.
