Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to support core accounting operations and help maintain accurate, timely financial records. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual who can manage close activities, reconcile accounts, and strengthen general ledger accuracy. The position offers the opportunity to partner closely with finance leadership while contributing to reliable reporting and process consistency.Responsibilities:• Lead monthly close activities by preparing entries, reviewing balances, and helping ensure deadlines are met.• Maintain the general ledger by recording financial activity accurately and investigating variances when they arise.• Prepare and post journal entries with appropriate support and clear documentation.• Reconcile balance sheet accounts on a recurring basis and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.• Perform bank reconciliations to confirm cash activity and identify unmatched transactions.• Support the preparation of internal financial reports by organizing accounting data and verifying completeness.• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to improve accounting workflows and maintain strong controls.Requirements• Experience working in a Senior Accountant or similar accounting role.• Strong knowledge of month-end close procedures and general ledger accounting.• Proven ability to prepare journal entries and complete account reconciliations accurately.• Hands-on experience performing bank reconciliations and researching differences.• Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting practices.• High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple deadlines effectively.Job typePerm
