About the Role Haul materials from loading areas to designated unload areas. Haul Truck - Articulated Haul Truck: 745 Articulated Haul Truck and Volvo A456. What You'll Accomplish Demonstrates a commitment to communicating, improving, and adhering to safety policies in all work environments and areas; Practice and promote safety in such a way as including but not limited to: Assessing risks before starting tasks; Only performing authorized activities; Utilizing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE); Communicates with load and unload areas, hauls materials safely to designated areas and maintains safe speed and observes all plant traffic controls; Performs walk‑around pre‑trip safety inspections. Identifies any safety problems or concerns and reports any unsafe conditions to Supervisor including near misses and any other areas where safety can be improved; Performs maintenance activities to ensure haul truck are maintained to the required standard and assist with other plant maintenance activities as required including site housekeeping or cleanup activities; Other duties as assigned. What We're Looking For Required Education: High school diploma or GED. Experience: (2-3) years prior experience operating a very large, heavy‑duty type dump‑truck used to transport loads over rough terrain. Proven safety record - Holcim US prioritizes SAFETY above all.
