Part-time Accountant ABOUT THE COMPANY Our client is a leading organization in the Columbus market. They are a growing company looking to add a part-time Accountant to their team. They provide great work/life balance, flexible hours and a family culture. Looking for a long-term partner for their accounting group. RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE PART-TIME ACCOUNTANT: The part-time Accountant will summarize details in separate ledgers and transfer data to general ledger. The part-time Accountant will verify, allocate and post details of business transactions to general ledger. Reconcile and balance accounts. Compile reports to show cash receipts and expenditures, accounts payable and receivable, profit and loss, and other items pertinent to operation of business. Process accounts payable weekly. Generate monthly statements to customers. Complete records to or through trial balance. The part-time Accountant will support month-end close process. 20-25 hours per week. PREFERRED EXPERIENCE OF THE PART-TIME ACCOUNTANT: Accounts payable experience is a must General accounting experience Attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills Solid computer skills-including Excel Friendly and willing to help where necessary Salary Range: $21 – $26 per hour based on experience.
