Job Summary We are currently looking for an ambitious Registered Respiratory Therapist to help us reach our goals. As a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) on our team, you will evaluate your patients’ respiratory needs and develop and implement the Respiratory Care Plan for each patient. Responsibilities Apply and operate acute‑care ventilators used for continuous short‑ and long‑term mechanical ventilation. Work independently when the full‑time Team Leader is absent. Maintain all department and hospital records and enter accurate information into the hospital computer system. Perform procedures with care and empathy for patients. Qualifications Current Florida Registered Respiratory Therapist licensure. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS, PALS, and NRP within 6 months of hire. Graduate of a Respiratory Care program accredited by the Committee on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC). Must be able to perform frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, and moving equipment. Requires critical‑thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate actions in volatile situations. Customer‑service abilities including effective listening skills.
