Step into a uniquely rewarding role supporting students with complex medical needs during their morning commute for the 2026–27 school year. This contract position calls for an RN or LPN to provide compassionate, vigilant care to several students, ensuring a safe journey from Lynn to their educational center. You’ll have a direct impact, working closely with each child, monitoring their specific medical requirements in a collaborative atmosphere.

Key Qualifications:

• Current, active Massachusetts RN or LPN license
• At least one year of nursing experience, preferably in school or pediatric settings
• Experience with seizure protocols (Valtoco PRN administration) and g-tube management
• Able to recognize and respond to diabetic, respiratory, and allergy emergencies
• Comfortable providing hands-on care for students with cerebral palsy, chromosomal abnormalities, chronic lung disease, or similar conditions

Primary Responsibilities:

• Ride the morning bus route (approx. 6:15–7:45 AM) Monday through Friday to student pick-up locations and return after drop-off
• Closely monitor students’ health conditions, especially those requiring airway, seizure, or diabetic management
• Administer PRN medication as needed, following individualized transportation and care plans
• Accurately perform and document any medical interventions (including g-tube care, suctioning, O2 sat monitoring)
• Collaborate with existing school nurses; participate in provided training and complete route orientation before working independently
