Role Description The Radiation Therapist is responsible for delivering prescribed radiation treatments safely and accurately to patients in coordination with radiation oncologists and dosimetrists. Day-to-day duties include preparing and positioning patients, operating linear accelerators and imaging equipment, verifying treatment plans and parameters, and monitoring patients for treatment-related side effects. The role also involves maintaining detailed treatment records, adhering to radiation safety protocols, assisting with quality assurance procedures, and supporting patient education and comfort throughout the course of therapy. This is a full-time, on-site role located in San Antonio, TX, working closely with the clinical team to provide high-quality, patient-centered care. Qualifications Valid American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiation Therapy and eligibility for state licensure as required. Strong knowledge of Radiation Safety practices, including safe operation of radiation equipment and compliance with regulatory standards.
