Maintenance Director - Skilled Nursing The Greens at Gastonia | Gastonia, NC Full-Time Job Summary: The Greens at Gastonia, a premier skilled nursing facility in Gastonia, North Carolina, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Director to join our team. As a key leadership role, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the building's survey readiness, overseeing life safety systems, preventative maintenance, and compliance standards. If you have a passion for maintaining a safe and efficient environment for residents and staff, Responsibilities: Lead all maintenance operations for the facility, ensuring a survey-ready environment at all times Maintain compliance with Life Safety Code and other regulatory standards Manage preventative maintenance programs and documentation Oversee HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and emergency systems Coordinate repairs and projects with vendors and contractors Partner with leadership to maintain a safe environment for residents and staff Respond to urgent maintenance needs and on-call situations Minimum Requirements: Maintenance Director or Supervisor experience REQUIRED Healthcare, skilled nursing, or regulated facility experience REQUIRED Strong knowledge of Life Safety Code, OSHA, and compliance standards Hands-on experience with building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing) Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Why This Role Matters: This position plays a direct role in resident safety, regulatory success, and overall facility operations.
