Registered Nurse - Neurology

Role Overview: We are seeking a passionate Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality, patient-centered care on a specialized neurology unit. The role involves assessing patient conditions, performing procedures, administering medications, and documenting care accurately. You will collaborate with medical teams, educate families, and advocate for patient needs to ensure optimal clinical outcomes. Key Responsibilities Assess patient status during admission and shifts, reporting any changes promptly. Perform procedures and monitor patient responses as ordered, ensuring thorough documentation. Administer prescribed medications, monitor therapeutic responses, and respond to adverse effects. Respond promptly to patient requests, anticipate needs, and resolve issues proactively. Educate patients, families, and caregivers about conditions, treatments, and follow-up care. Qualifications & Skills Active RN license and Bachelor’s Degree. Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) and NIH Stroke Scale certification within 30 days of hire. Strong clinical assessment, communication, and compassionate care skills.
