Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments including obtaining medical histories, performing physical examinations, and developing initial diagnostic workups to tailor treatment plans effectively.
• Diagnose and treat a wide range of acute, chronic, and complex medical conditions within the surgical setting.
• Order and interpret a variety of diagnostic tests, such as laboratory work and imaging studies, to guide clinical decision-making.
• Participate actively in the development and implementation of treatment plans in collaboration with attending physicians, ensuring cohesive patient care.
• Prescribe medications, therapies, and other treatments according to established medical protocols and state regulations.
• Educate patients and their families on disease management, treatment options, and preventive health strategies to foster informed health choices.
• Perform clinical procedures such as wound suturing, joint injections, and assist in various surgical procedures, showcasing hands-on skills and proficiency.

Qualifications
