Lead Teacher Toddler Classroom (Ages 12)
Location: The Learning Experience, Columbia
Schedule: 9am6pm, MondayFriday (full availability required)
Compensation: $16$18/hr, based on experience

Lead Our Toddler Classroom With Heart and Purpose

Were seeking a warm, enthusiastic, and dedicated Lead Teacher to guide our Toddler classroom. If youre passionate about early development, love supporting little ones as they build independence, and enjoy creating handson learning experiences, this role offers a meaningful opportunity to make a lasting impact every day.

What Youll Do

Plan and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons and activities
Maintain a safe, clean, organized, and stimulating classroom environment
Support daily care routines, including diapering, feeding, and smooth transitions
Build strong, trusting relationships with children, families, and fellow staff
Observe, document, and communicate developmental progress and classroom behaviors
Model professionalism, positivity, and leadership within the classroom community

What Were Looking For

Experience working with toddlers (ages 12), preferably in a lead role
Strong communication skills and a collaborative, teamoriented mindset
Flexibility to work within the centers 7:00 AM6:00 PM operating hours
Education in Early Childhood Education or a related field is a plus
Has or will obtain the 15hour South Carolina Health & Safety Certification (free) before orientation day
Has or will obtain First Aid/CPR certification
A nurturing, patient, and energetic approach to early learning
