Investment Banking AnalystAQ Technology Partners is a boutique investment bank focused on the software ecosystem, specializing in M&A and financial sponsor transactions. We are seeking an experienced Investment Banking Analyst to join our team supporting transactions with growth software companies based in our Redwood City, CA office.Both investment banking experience required. Preference for technology and/or software industry experience.Our Analysts benefit from our small teams, working closely with experienced senior technology bankers, and getting hands-on experience on live deals in a multitude of technology and software-centric subsectors. On a day-to-day basis our analysts:Create financial models including forecast models, retention analyses, and other key analytical models to support transactionsConduct financial valuations, including comparable company analysis, discounted cash flow analysis, and comparable transaction analysisCreate and maintain industry-specific business development presentationsConduct industry- and company-specific researchCreate buyer lists, and support deal execution processesInteract with clients and senior bankersA successful candidate will possess the following characteristics:Minimum one year of investment banking or related financial experienceBachelor's degree from a top tier schoolDemonstrated history of strong academic performanceDemonstrated passion for finance and technologyCommitment to hard work and enthusiasm for creative thinkingCandidates must be able to handle multiple projects at once and learn quicklyTeam player who is able to effectively interact with a variety of internal groups and clientsPrevious experience with financial modeling or formal trainingAnalyst Career Path:Top performers will have the opportunity for a direct promotion to Associate
