Skilled Licensed Vocational Nurse
BrightStar Care of Amarillo is looking for a skilled LVN to provide personalized nursing care to patients in their homes throughout Dumas and surrounding communities. If you enjoy one-on-one patient care, working independently, and building meaningful relationships with the people you serve, we'd love to hear from you.
What You'll Do
- Follow individualized plans of care
- Monitor patients and recognize changes in condition
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered
- Educate patients and families on care needs
- Coordinate with physicians and other members of the care team
- Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation
What You'll Need
- Current, unrestricted Texas LVN license
- Minimum 1 year of nursing experience
- Skilled home health experience preferred, but not required
- Wound care experience is a plus
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Strong clinical and communication skills
- Comfortable working independently
- Own device and reliable internet connection required to access your schedule and complete charting
