We also leverage our expertise in vacuum technology to provide unique, toxic chemical analysis products for emergency response, security, and environmental health and safety.Job DescriptionPosition OverviewThis position drives the employee experience, leading operational excellence across the employee lifecycle, ensuring compliance and process integrity, and supporting scalable people programs aligned with business objectives. The People Operations Manager will have one direct report (Generalist) on the People & Culture (P&C) team.Key ResponsibilitiesHR Operations & ComplianceOversee end-to-end employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, internal transitions, and offboardingEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulationsOversee immigration processes, partnering with legal counsel and external vendors to ensure timely filings, documentation accuracy, and regulatory complianceMaintain and update P&C policies and ensure consistent application across the organizationProvide oversight of benefits administration and leave management functions, ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely service deliveryIdentify operational efficiencies and continuously improve P&C operational processesCompensation & BenefitsLead the compensation benchmarking and annual salary review cyclesOversee benefits programs and manage relationships with brokers, and carriers to ensure competitive and cost-effective offeringsMonitor internal equity and external market competitiveness, recommending adjustments as needed.Support the design, implementation, and communication of new or updated compensation and benefits programsAnalyze benefits utilization and employee feedback to identify opportunities for improvementEnsure compliance with all benefits-related regulations, including ACA, ERISA, and other relevant federal, state, or local requirementsProvide data-driven insights and reporting to leadership to inform compensation and benefits strategyTalent Acquisition & Workforce ManagementOversee and manage the organization’s RPO (Recruitment Process Outsourcing) partnership to ensure high-quality, timely hiring outcomesPartner with hiring managers and the RPO team to forecast staffing needs and align recruiting strategies with business prioritiesMonitor recruiting metrics (e.g., time-to-fill, quality of hire, cost-per-hire) and hold the RPO accountable to established performance standards and SLAsContinuously evaluate and optimize hiring processes to enhance candidate experience and employer brandContribute to long-term workforce planning and succession strategy initiativesEmployee RelationsEnsure People & Culture policies and procedures are consistently applied and clearly communicated across the organizationDirect employee relations matter to the P&C Business Partner(s) for review and resolutionMaintain appropriate documentation and tracking of employee relations casesMonitor trends and provide high-level reporting to the VP of People to support compliance and risk mitigationSupport policy updates and internal communications to reinforce fair, compliant, and consistent workplace practicesQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field5+ years of progressive HR experience, including people management or formal team leadership responsibilitySHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, HRCI PHR, HRCI SPHR, or equivalent credential; or ability to obtain certification within one year of employment.Proven experience partnering with senior leaders and cross‑functional stakeholders to drive people initiatives and organizational outcomesStrong working knowledge of employment law, compliance, and HR best practicesHands‑on experience with HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, ADP, UKG, or similar), including system administration, process optimization, data integrity, and reportingDemonstrated ability to leverage HR data, dashboards, and people analytics to inform decisions and improve employee experienceExcellent communication skills, sound judgment, and strong problem-solving capabilitiesProven ability to coach, develop, and mentor People & Culture team members in a fast‑paced, evolving environmentAdditional InformationThe expected salary range for this position is between $90,000 and $110,000 annually. In addition, INFICON employees are eligible for a profit-sharing bonus with a target of 10%.
