The Gardens at York Terrace is seeking a dependable Housekeeper/Laundry Assistant to join our skilled nursing facility in Pottsville, PA.

The Housekeeper/Laundry Assistant performs a variety of cleaning, laundry, and organizing duties to help maintain a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our residents.

Responsibilities

• Follow established housekeeping procedures

• Perform routine cleaning and organizing duties throughout the facility

• Place soiled facility and resident personal linens into washing machines

• Fold, hang, and organize resident personal clothing and linens

• Transport and distribute resident personal laundry to residents’ rooms

• Hang clothing in closets and place clothing in drawers

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

• Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Previous experience in cleaning, housekeeping, maintenance, or a related field preferred

• Familiarity with cleaning materials and equipment

• Must be at least 18 years of age

• Reliable, dependable, and detail-oriented

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
