About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director to lead one of its senior living communities. The successful candidate will be the community leader, responsible for the financial, human resource, and operations management. This role is pivotal in ensuring a warm, compassionate, and secure atmosphere that encourages independence and activity for all residents while maintaining a profitable operation. Key responsibilities include overseeing all community operations and departments, managing a large team, building relationships with residents and families, and working closely with the Sales and Marketing Director to achieve 100% occupancy. The Executive Director will also be involved in budget development, holding regular meetings with staff and residents, and being on-call for emergency situations. Applicants for the Executive Director position at the company's senior living community should have a minimum of 3 years' of management experience in the senior housing industry, with a preference for a college degree. Advanced computer skills, excellent communication, a desire to work with senior adults, and strong leadership abilities are essential. The role requires the ability to solve complex operational and people problems, experience in overseeing the financial success of multiple departments, and the willingness to obtain a state administrator's certification if not already possessed. The ideal candidate will be a dedicated professional who is committed to the company's core values of commitment, empowerment, communication, excellence, and teamwork.
