Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) Nurse position available in Ironwood, Michigan. This contract opportunity offers a 13-week assignment starting as soon as possible, with a focus on circulating cases in a facility with three operating rooms and one endoscopy room. The role involves working four days per week during daytime hours, with variable start times typically between 0630 and 0900, and requiring on-call responsibilities for surgical cases.

Job Details

• Shift: Days, 4-10 hour shifts with variable start times typically from 0630 to 0900, totaling 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) license; Associate Degree or Certificate in Nursing; a minimum of 2 years of circulating experience, with PACU experience preferred; certifications including BLS (ARC or AHA) and ACLS (AHA or ARC).
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
• Experience: 2 or more years of circulating experience; strong skills in orthopedic and general cases including total knee, hip, shoulder, ORIFs, hip fractures, I&Ds, laparoscopy procedures, OB/GYN, eyes, and podiatry.
• Responsibilities: Manage cases from surgical admission to discharge, work in pre-op, PACU, endoscopy, and circulate cases. Candidates should be resilient, social, and able to manage change effectively.
• Schedule: 4 days per week, 10 hours per day, with on-call 1-2 times weekly from end of shift to 0700 the following day; occasional holiday call duties required.
• Additional Information: No holiday shifts are scheduled, but holiday call is required. Scrub colors will be provided.
