Position Overview:

As the Pastry Chef, you’ll be responsible for producing a variety of high-quality desserts, pastries, breads, and baked goods. You’ll oversee the pastry department, manage prep and production schedules, and contribute to menu development with innovative and seasonal offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and present a wide range of pastries, desserts, baked goods, and plated sweets

• Design and develop dessert menus in collaboration with the Executive Chef or management

• Ensure consistency, quality, and visual appeal of all pastry items

• Manage inventory, order supplies, and maintain proper storage and rotation of ingredients

• Oversee and train pastry assistants or team members

• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient pastry kitchen

• Follow all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards

• Stay up to date on pastry trends, techniques, and seasonal ingredients

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or in a similar role

• In-depth knowledge of baking techniques, dessert preparation, and flavor profiles

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

• Excellent time management and organizational skills

• Ability to work independently and lead a pastry team

• Creativity and passion for pastry arts

• Culinary or pastry degree preferred, but not required

• Food safety certification is a plus
