Job Description
Labor & Delivery Nurse - Travel

Schedule:
- 12-hour shifts

Assignment Details:
- Minimum contract length: 10 weeks
- Hours: 36 or 48-hour contracts commonly offered

Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year L&D experience required
- Must have experience in a large L&D unit/facility
- Required clinical experience: postpartum highs (3s/4s), baby nurse (baby catching), meconium deliveries
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP (NRP must be in-hand at submission)
- Charting/EHR: Cerner

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide care for patients during labor, delivery, and postpartum.
- Monitor fetal heart rate and respond to abnormalities.
- Assist in delivery, including C-section and vaginal birth.
- Offer support for breastfeeding and newborn care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care.

- Flu vaccine: Required (medical/religious exemptions allowed)
- Required documents due approximately 10 days prior to start.
