Accounting Specialist

*Entry level- bachelors degree, no experience OR strong data entry (ERP)

We are seeking one to two detail-oriented Data Processing Specialists to support a critical ERP system transition project. During this period, employees across the organization will submit Excel-based timesheets for payroll and labor tracking purposes. These individuals will be responsible for reviewing, validating, and accurately entering timekeeping data into the new ERP system to ensure timely and accurate processing.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage a designated email inbox containing employee timesheets.
• Review Excel-based time tracking spreadsheets for completeness and accuracy.
• Enter employee and contractor time data into the ERP system.
• Identify and escalate missing or inconsistent information as needed.
• Maintain high levels of accuracy while processing large volumes of timesheet data.
• Collaborate with the payroll, HR, and project teams to support a smooth ERP transition.
• Follow established procedures and data entry guidelines to ensure data integrity.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Prior experience with data entry, payroll processing, timekeeping administration, or related administrative functions.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage high-volume workloads and meet deadlines.
• Comfortable working with multiple systems and learning new software quickly.
• Experience with ERP systems (IFS experience preferred but not required).

This is a Contract position based out of Saint Louis, MO.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
