Software Application Support Systems Engineer Advisor - TS/SCI w/poly

Basic Qualifications Active TS/SCI clearance with current polygraph required Ten (10) years’ experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required. Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree. Highly Desired Qualifications Experience maintaining, configuring and supporting complex software applications Experience with Linux command line and Systems Administration support Ability to maintain a comprehensive knowledge base of common issues, technical documents, and user guides Experience with technologies such as Docker, MongoDB, Mongo Compass, ElasticSearch, AWS and ContainerYard Ability to proactively monitor application performance, system health checks, and database status to ensure maximum uptime Ability to troubleshoot and analyze software issues, evaluate error logs, identify root causes Experience working with Atlassian tools, Jira, Confluence Familiarity with web application architectures, web servers (e.g., Apache, Tomcat, IIS), and APIs. In this role you will provide Operational Support and be responsible for ensuring the stability and optimal performance of our software applications. You will act as a point of contact for technical issues, troubleshooting software errors, providing user support, and collaborating with our engineering team to implement fixes. This will require the ability to start, stop and diagnose services running in Linux. Some software includes Apache NiFi, Datarunner, MongoDB, ElasticSearch, AWS EC2 instances, CHAP.
