Description

• Deliver individualized speech therapy interventions aimed at enhancing communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing.
• Work collaboratively with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and family members to forge unified care strategies.
• Provide valuable education to patients and families to sustain progress beyond therapy sessions.
• Support sporadic inpatient speech therapy evaluations and interventions, ensuring a seamless care experience throughout the recovery journey.

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet ASHA-certified.

Certifications

• State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within the first month of employment.
