About the Role:

As a team member of the Sanitation Team, you will be responsible for washing and sanitizing tools, Lexan tubs, bus tubs and other items in the Dishwashing Room using a large commercial dishwashing machine and other methods.  Keeping our utensils clean is a crucial part of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).  

Responsibilities as a Shift Lead:

• Support the Sanitation Team by being the first point of contact on the floor
• Verify daily sanitation activities are completed and documented as needed
• Train new hires and support cross-training for other employees
• Execute research, data collection and special projections as delegated by the Sanitation supervisor
• Keep Chemical Room and supplies organized and communicate needs to the Sanitation supervisor
• Backup coverage for Sanitation Supervisor as needed
• Support master sanitation and emergency projects as needed (ie. drain backups, spills, etc.)

Necessary knowledge, skills, and experience:

• Able to stand and work for long periods of time (8+ hour shifts) in a cold environment (around 40 degrees) and in a hot environment.
• Must be able and willing to work in refrigerated coolers (~38⁰F)
• Able to lift 25-50 lbs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English Preferred)
