Social Worker (SW - School Based) - FL Certified - 26/27 SY
Princeton Staffing Solutions is seeking a FL DOE Certified School Social Worker to support a K12 caseload with a school district in Highlands County, Florida for the 2026–2027 school year. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced school-based clinician who values collaboration, structured support, and the ability to make a measurable impact on students' social-emotional and behavioral development.
Location: Sebring, Florida
Setting: K-12 Public School
Schedule: 40 hours per week
Contract Type: W2
Start Date: 7/30/26
End Date: 2026-2027 School Year
Work Arrangement: In Person

School Social Worker (MSW, LMSW) – Key Responsibilities
- Participate as an active member of the IEP team in compliance with IDEA
- Conduct social-emotional, behavioral, and mental health evaluations
- Contribute to eligibility determinations and case study reports
- Provide direct counseling services (individual and group)
- Develop and support social skills and evidence-based interventions
- Collaborate on Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP)
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to strengthen student outcomes
- Incorporate cultural, environmental, and socio-economic considerations into evaluations and service planning
Qualifications
- MSW from CSWE accredited program required
- FL DOE Professional Educator Certificate with School Social Work (grades PK-12) endorsement required
- Prior school-based experience in a full time paid role as a School Social Worker is required
