Job DescriptionLondon Stock Exchange Group is looking for an application developer to join a team of Fixed Income Analytics Application Development. The candidate is expected to work closely with other developers, making efficient and effective use of AI-assisted development tools, to drive application development for Yield Book product suite, including Excel Add-In, Structuring Tool and API. The Yield Book is a fixed income analytics system widely used by financial institutions and this position plays a vital role in the development of our products.Main ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop fixed income analytics applications, used by front office for trading and investment decision-makingImplement and enhance the Structuring Tool for securitized products, used for Securitized Product analysis and marketingMaintain and modernize the existing codebase while preserving product stabilityUse AI coding assistants and agentic tools to accelerate development, testing, and code understandingPartner with product management and client service teams to solve product issues and deliver new featuresCreate unit tests and integration tests to ensure software meets requirementsWork closely with the Quality Engineering team to ensure the high quality of the deliverablesEssential Skills and Experience RequiredAn advanced degree (master’s or higher) in a quantitative field such as Financial Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Engineering, Mathematics, etc.Excellent programming skills in one of the languages (C/C++, .NET, Java or Python)1 to 3 years of financial industry experience or academic trainingHands-on experience using AI coding assistants (e.g. GitHub Copilot, Claude, Cursor) in real development workStrong code review skills applied to AI output — quickly assessing, validating, refining and testing AI-generated codeExperience with automated testing and version controlStrong teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teamsExcellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issuesWillingness to learn and develop deep financial knowledgeCareer Stage:Senior AssociateCompensation/Benefits Information:LSEG is committed to offering competitive Compensation and Benefits. The anticipated base salary for this position is $98,500 - $164,100.Please be aware base salary ranges may vary by geographic location, city and state. In addition to our offered base salary, this role is eligible for our Annual Incentive Plan (AIP/”bonus plan”). Target AIP rates will be commensurate with role level and posted career stage. Individual salary will be reflective of job related knowledge, skills and equivalent experience.
