Physical TherapistWe are seeking a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapist to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team in Chicago, Illinois. In this role, you will support patients through recovery and rehabilitation following illness, injury, or surgery. Your work will focus on restoring mobility, function, and independence while delivering patient-centered, evidence-based care across inpatient and outpatient settings.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform comprehensive patient evaluations in inpatient and outpatient environments.Develop and implement individualized physical therapy treatment plans based on patient needs and clinical findings.Provide therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, strength, balance, coordination, and functional performance.Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as clinically appropriate.Educate patients and families on treatment goals, discharge planning, and home exercise programs.Collaborate with physicians, nurses, case managers, and rehabilitation team members to support optimal patient outcomes.Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and care coordination discussions.Document evaluations, treatments, and patient progress in accordance with facility policies, regulatory standards, and professional guidelines.QualificationsDoctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program or equivalent.Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist.CPR certification (preferred).Specialty certifications (e.g., neurology, geriatrics) are a plus but not required.Prior clinical experience preferred, particularly with medically complex or mobility-impaired patient populations.Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.Proficiency with electronic medical records and clinical documentation systems.Work EnvironmentThis position requires clinical judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, interdisciplinary healthcare setting.
