Guest Service AgentAt Quarterdeck Resort on Gull Lake, our Guest Service Agent is the first and last impression for our guests. Our ideal candidate provides warm, friendly, and efficient service at the front desk while handling reservations, check-ins, check-outs, and guest inquiries. The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced resort environment, and helps create memorable lakefront experiences.Key ResponsibilitiesGuest ExperienceGreet guests with a friendly, welcoming attitudeHandle guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently and accuratelyAnswer questions about resort amenities, activities, dining, and local attractionsResolve guest concerns promptly and professionallyFront Desk OperationsManage reservations, room assignments, and availabilityProcess payments, cash handling, and posting charges accuratelyAnswer phones, emails, and in-person inquiriesMaintain accurate guest records and daily logsCommunication & CoordinationCommunicate guest needs to housekeeping, maintenance, and managementMonitor room status and coordinate with housekeeping for timely turnoversReport maintenance issues or safety concernsProfessional StandardsMaintain a clean, organized front desk and lobby areaFollow resort policies, procedures, and safety guidelinesUphold confidentiality and guest privacyQualificationsRequiredCustomer service experience (hospitality preferred)Strong communication and interpersonal skillsBasic computer skills and ability to learn reservation systemsAbility to multitask and remain calm in busy situationsFlexible availability including evenings, weekends, holidays, and peak seasonsPreferredResort, hotel, or front desk experienceCash handling and POS experienceLocal area knowledgeSkills & AttributesFriendly, outgoing, and professional demeanorStrong problem-solving skillsDetail-oriented with good organizational skillsTeam-oriented with a positive attitudeWork EnvironmentFast-paced, guest-focused lakefront resortIndoor front desk setting with frequent guest interactionSeasonal peaks during summer and holiday periodsPay Rate$17-19 per hourRequirementsEmployee Benefits OverviewWe are proud to offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your well-being and preparing for your future.
