Job Title: Production Cleaner
Hours: Sunday - Thursday | 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM
Location: Florence, KY
About the Production Cleaner Worker Role
As a Sanitation Worker, your responsibilities will include:
• Works safely and remains aware of surroundings
• Sanitizes production rooms and controlled environments according to procedures • Cleans laboratory areas, chemistry, bio/micro, and sterility suites
• Sanitizes and scrubs machines, tables, counters, trash containers, bins, and conveyors • Mops and scrubs floors, doors, walls, and ceilings
• Operates ride-on floor scrubber in warehouse and production aisles
• Cleans warehouse walls, floors, racking, and doors
• Gathers and removes trash from production and laboratory areas
• Completes sanitation documentation and records
• Supports cleaning and janitorial services for office and non-production areas • Cleans processing equipment, overhead pipes, and conveyors
• Cleans facility grounds, lighting, and parking lots
• Performs pre-op swabbing as required
• Removes debris, cardboard, tape, shrink wrap, and damaged products • Documents and verifies food safety and quality assurance activities
• Works off aerial equipment up to 40 feet above ground
• Maintains plant cleanliness and compactor areas
• Performs daily hygiene checks throughout the warehouse
• Reports daily to the Sanitation Supervisor
• Interfaces with employees, USDA officials, and QA/QC teams
• Maintains a positive work environment and supports team building
• Cleans production areas
• Wears required PPE including rubber smock, hair/beard net, hard hat, and safety glasses • Must be able to work in very HOT conditions
Requirements of the Production Cleaner:
• Must be able to work off aerial equipment up to 40 feet high
• Must follow food safety and sanitation procedures
• Must be comfortable working in HOT environments • Must wear required PPE provided by employer • Must maintain strong communication and teamwork skills
• Must be able to complete sanitation documentation accurately
