The selected candidate will be part of a dynamic Cyber engineering team that designs, develops, documents, tests, and maintains full spectrum cyber solutions. This position is specifically for an individual interested in supporting Authorization and Accreditation using Risk Management Framework & Cyber Requirements activities for the NGG development systems.As a Cyber Security Engineer supporting the RTS program, your responsibilities will include:• Conducting cyber risk assessment activities, vulnerability analysis, and analysis of mitigation solutions.• Developing, evaluating, and analyzing design constraints, trade-offs, and detailed system and security designs.• Implementing appropriate Assessment and Authorization activities as required by customers.• Prepare ATO, ATC, IATT packages for input into eMASS.Specific technical responsibilities include:• Assessing and driving mitigation efforts of system security threats/risks throughout the program lifecycle for the system.• Implementation of security policies and or configurations to meet Risk Management Framework (RMF) objectives.• Interacting significantly with other engineering disciplines to implement security designs, resolve vulnerabilities, modify system or software components security settings, and mitigate risk.• Performing System Engineering activities to manage Cyber requirements for tracking until closure.Basic Qualifications1. DOD 8570 Experience.2. Experience with Authorization and Accreditation processes using Risk Management Framework methodologies.3. Experience with DoD cybersecurity requirements, policies, and procedures.Desired Skills1. Experience performing cybersecurity accreditation activities in support of software and system requirements, design, development, testing, and sustainment of approvals - Authority To Operate2. Experience with NetBrain, Zenoss and Hewlett Packard Network Automation (HPNA)3. Familiar with eMASS, HBSS, ACAS, SCAP Compliance Checker (SCC), DISA STIGs4. Experience with Secure Configuration/Hardening of DoD Information Systems5. Experience with Intel Driven Threat Modeling, preferably classified Cyber Threat Intel Support6. Experience briefing complex cyber security principles to all levels of knowledge and skill7. Experience briefing high level customer stakeholders with cyber security concerns and remediation tactics8. Knowledge of NIST 800-539. Experience with RHEL and Windows Server/Professional10. Experience with SIEM and cloud technologies including LogRhythm, Splunk, Jira, and Confluence11. DoD 8570 IAT II Certification12. Ability to provide guidance on DoD Cyber regulations and requirements to engineering and software development staff13. Experience with responding to cyber incidents from detection through remediation.14.
