Mortgage Processor

Responsibilities: • Make sure closing dates and company deadlines are met by following up on loan documentation in a timely manner • Help further loan approval by serving as a liaison between applicants, real estate agents, loan officers, and mortgage lending underwriters • Communicate with the borrower throughout the loan process • Manage a loan pipeline and maintain an efficient and compliant flow through the loan process • Submit detailed loan packages to the lender underwriting department for approval or denial. Communicate with underwriters to clarify conditions and satisfy these by coordinating with the borrower Own the file from contract to closing with accuracy, speed, and a service-first mindsetServe as the main point of contact for borrowers, Realtors, LO, and underwritersManage a pipeline efficiently while meeting closing dates and compliance requirementsAnalyze and verify all income, assets, credit, insurance, VOEs, payoffs, tax transcripts, title, condos, and supporting documentationUpdate and maintain full transparency through the LOSTroubleshoot issues proactively and remove roadblocks before they become delaysEnsure outstanding communication and a calm, positive borrower experienceWork collaboratively with our team to deliver smooth, clean files with minimal conditions Qualifications: • Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills • Minimum 2 years mortgage processing experience, 5+ preferred • Can correctly analyze and interpret income, and asset documents, credit reports, and the variety of ways to structure a loan • Familiar with working in a lender’s environment and using Encompass LOS software • Highly attentive to detail, and has excellent organizational and time management skills 5+ years of mortgage processing experienceDeep understanding of lender model operationsStrong working knowledge of loan structuring, AUS, credit, income, and assetsExperience as a Senior Processor, LOA, Loan Partner, or Underwriter requiredProven ability to manage deadlines and multitask without sacrificing accuracyCalm, steady professional presence even during high-volume cyclesStrong communication and relationship-building skillsProficient with Calyx Point or similar LOS software Compensation: $60,000 yearly base DOE + bonus & incentives

Compensation:
$60,000 per year
