Job Summary We are looking for a responsible and skilled Ready-Mix Driver to join our team. The Ready-Mix Truck Driver operates the concrete mixer to deliver loads to commercial and residential job sites, navigating a range of conditions and handling extension chutes (weighing 30 to 50 pounds) as needed. Job Responsibilities Safety & Compliance: Adhere to regulations and promote a safe working environment. Delivery & Timing: Ensure safe and timely delivery of concrete loads to job sites. Discharge Management: Adapt discharge methods to various site settings and conditions. Extension Chute Handling: Attach and manage extension chutes as necessary for precise pouring. Truck Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness and mechanical soundness of the truck. Customer Service: Provide outstanding service and maintain a professional image for the company. Team Coordination: Work with dispatch and team members for efficient operations. Qualifications Who we are looking for To succeed in this role, you should bring: Educational and Licensing Requirements: Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL A or B). High school diploma preferred. Must qualify as not prohibited in the FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse. Skills: Proficient in English (reading, writing, speaking). Acceptable CSA and MVR; no DUI/DWI in the last 5 years and no more than 3 moving violations in the past 3 years. Strong safety knowledge, good communication, and ability to follow supervisor guidance. Knowledge of traffic routes and basic truck maintenance is desirable. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong safety awareness, communication, and ability to work in a dynamic, outdoor environment.
