Acara Solutions is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Supervisor to join a leading industrial manufacturing organization. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader with a strong machine shop background in CNC milling and turning operations who thrives in a fast-paced production environment and is passionate about driving safety, quality, productivity, and employee development.
About the Role

As a Manufacturing Supervisor, you will lead daily shop floor operations, manage production personnel, and ensure manufacturing goals are achieved safely, efficiently, and on schedule. This position plays a critical role in supporting operational excellence while fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise manufacturing personnel to meet production schedules and quality standards
• Schedule and assign work based on production priorities and staffing needs
• Monitor workflow, resolve production issues, and drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Enforce and promote all safety policies, procedures, and best practices
• Recruit, train, coach, and develop manufacturing employees
• Create and support employee development and performance improvement plans
• Collaborate with production planning and cross-functional teams to optimize staffing and workflow
• Implement cost-saving strategies and process improvements
• Support maintenance activities to ensure equipment reliability and uptime
• Conduct regular shop floor walkthroughs and maintain a visible leadership presence
• Track attendance, labor hours, production metrics, and operational performance
• Foster open communication between team members and leadership
• Maintain a safe, organized, and productive work environment

Job Requirements

Qualifications

• Strong machine shop knowledge, particularly in CNC Milling and Turning operations
• Minimum of 6 years of manufacturing experience
• Minimum of 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience
• Proven ability to lead, coach, motivate, and develop teams
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
• Experience managing production schedules, workflow, and performance metrics
• Ability to identify productivity improvements and implement effective solutions
• Associate's degree plus relevant experience required; Bachelor's degree preferred
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds as needed
• Flexibility to work additional hours when required to meet production demands
