This position helps to develop and maintain high quality, evidence-based care through education and training to achieve optimal patient outcomes and a high level of patient satisfaction. This position supports the nursing team and fosters a strong relationship with the leadership, medical staff, and employees.Job RequirementsMinimum Education Requirement:Bachelor's Degree required. Master’s Degree preferred.Minimum Experience Requirement:Previous experience as an educator preferred. Excellent customer service skills.Two years experience with neurology, oncology, and/or orthopedic patients preferred. Minimum License Requirement:Current California RN license.BLS required.ACLS required within 3 months of hire/transfer.Annual 8 hours of Stroke Education required.
