If this sounds like the perfect job for you, tell us why in your cover letter.Responsibilities and DutiesGreet customers in a friendly, authentic, timely mannerCreate lasting relationships and fun memories with our customersComprehensive understanding and upkeep with the store productsEnsure the store is neat, organized, and well stocked for our customersExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsKnowledge of proper payment proceduresProvide a safe working and shopping environment by following all safety policies and proceduresQualificationsHigh school diploma or higherAvailability to work up to 40 hours per week, with weekend availability and flexibility to work overtime as needed to meet business demandsCustomer service/retail experience requiredA team player is a must!Familiarity with POS systems and the ability to learn new systemsFriendly, outgoing personalityAbility to move merchandise with appropriate equipment to and from backroom and sales floorAbility to place and arrange items on all shelves and racksAbility to climb and descend ladders while carrying merchandiseAbility to lift 30 pounds or more with assistanceAbility to be on your feet for a minimum of 8 hours per shift and to continuously move around all areas of the storeAbility to stand, walk, kneel, or balance for a duration of timeAbility to read and comprehend instructions, reports, and information on computer/register screens as well as input information into computerThe work environment and physical demands described here are representative of those that an employee will encounter while performing the essential functions of this job.
