Breast Imaging Radiologist OpportunityCVP is seeking Breast Imaging Radiologists to join our team in providing high-quality onsite radiological services at the Atlanta VA Medical Center located at 1670 Clairmont Road Decatur, GA 30030.Working hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.ResponsibilitiesProvide onsite breast imaging radiology services to VA patientsInterpret and report on Mammography, Breast Ultrasound, Breast MRIPerform and/or guide diagnostic breast imaging proceduresIdentify, evaluate, and diagnose breast abnormalities, including malignanciesReview imaging orders and next-day cases as needed (minimum 2 hours daily)Provide clinical consultation to referring providers regarding imaging results and care plansCommunicate test results to patients and providers per VHA Directive 1088Participate in post-procedure follow-up and complication managementDocument all care in the VA Electronic Health Record (EHR) in compliance with VA policyParticipate in Quality Improvement (QI) and Quality Assurance (QA) activitiesAttend required meetings with quality improvement, service leadership and staffComplete peer reviews (approximately 4 hours per month)Maintain patient safety and infection control standardsFollow all VA policies and procedures regarding patient care, documentation, and confidentialityQualificationsMust be eligible to obtain a Public Trust government security clearance; US Citizenship is requiredActive, full, and unrestricted medical license in any U.S. state or territoryBoard Certified in Radiology by the American Board of Radiology (ABR)Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certificationActive DEA licenseNPI report printoutExperience with diagnostic and interventional radiology proceduresProficient in the use of electronic medical records systemsPhysically capable of standing for long periods of extended time, lifting and/or transferring up to 50 lbsLocation: Atlanta VA Medical Center located at 1670 Clairmont Road Decatur, GA 30030.Shift: Working hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.About CVP: CVP is an award-winning healthcare and next-gen technology and consulting services firm solving critical problems for healthcare, national security, and public sector clients.
